perfect spot for exploring parks and local dining
we spent three nights here and loved the short stroll to the jubilee clock tower with great views and photo opportunities, and it was only a few steps away from great foodie spots like the three chimneys smokehouse.

The owners, Alec and Sue. Penny, my granddaughter, loves sweets, so the bag they gave her as a parting gift was a lovely touch. The room was spotlessly clean, and the nostalgic smell of the sheets reminded me of my childhood. Breakfast was amazing. I haven't had eggs poached so perfectly in ages! Location-wise, it couldn't be better, right by the sea front. On the downside, breakfast time slots started quite early. I also noticed minor plumbing issues, with hot water not available in the bathroom sink, but I'm sure Alec would have sorted it out if we mentioned it.

Hosts alex and sue served a delicious breakfast and were genuinely lovely people. Conveniently located, we easily walked to the town centre and enjoyed all the attractions.

Stayed in the Standard Triple Room with Sea View. The views were fine! The room was cozy and clean, with all the modern amenities like USB ports and hot drink options. The beds were super comfy, a must for a good night's sleep. Plus, there were thoughtful little touches. Only downside was the bathroom door, it could've used a little work to close properly. But overall, a great experience!
